Failing to verify

investigation
Certain
positions which are considered as very sensitive may require
personalities whose antecedents in all areas demand thorough
verification. The reason for this is to ensure that such
positions are filled with people of high integrity and
character. The verifications carried out in this instance
painstakingly cover virtually the person’s life from his birth
to his present circumstance. The outcome of the exercise gives
an interesting picture about the subject.
We carry
out different levels of comprehensive checks based on the type
of access the Subject will have to sensitive information. The
different levels are;

Verification of tertiary education certificate and last
employment
Level 2
Verification of tertiary educational certificate including
validation of dates attended and degrees/certificates obtained;
Local employment checks with up to two previous employers in
Nigeria, including period of employment, position held, any
disciplinary records listed, opinions of supervisors and

Level 3
Verification of all educational qualifications including high
school, local employment checks with all previous Nigerian
employers including period of employment, position held,
disciplinary records listed and opinions of supervisors and
colleagues in addition to supplied references.

Complete
verification of Subject’s antecedents in all areas including
validation of bio-data and identifying criminal traces
